I came to Emilee five weeks postpartum (c-section) and 2 weeks off emergency gall bladder removal surgery. I had already been struggling with my supply and my lack of experience made all the information on the web overwhelming and exhausting. By the time I called Emilee I was ready to throw in the towel and call myself a failure. Emilee was able to coach me in a very clear way and explain the why and the how of “supply and demand”. My ability to generate breast milk was also at the mercy of long past and multiple breast reductions and not knowing how much or what tissue was damaged. She helped me to feel okay about not being able to provide 100% of my baby’s food, that combo feeding was a great option for me. We have managed to grow my supply by over 50%, and while my baby is still combo feeding I feel really good about my progress and I know how much she is able to get from me and that makes me feel so much more positive about continuing my journey. Emilee introduced a variety tools I can continue to use to help maintain and hopefully continue to grow my milk supply!

As a new mom, I could not have gone through my breastfeeding journey without Emilee. I started out breastfeeding and really struggled with it. Emilee was very helpful and worked with me as I made the difficult and emotional decision to pump exclusively. Not only did she assist me in learning how to make the change, but she supported my mental health by consistently checking in with me. After moving to only pumping, I developed mastitis. I was able to reach out and get an appointment right away to figure out next steps. Emilee consistently messaged me and was available when I needed her. Elevated Lactation also worked with my insurance to ensure that I could get the appointments I needed, both in person and over the phone. I couldn’t be more grateful for the constant support , availability, and genuine care that Emilee provided me and continues to provide for me as I learn how to be a new mom.

There aren’t enough words to describe how amazing Emilee and Elevated Lactation are! After having my second child I was confident in my nursing journey because I had no issues with my first. I was wrong, this experience was much different. I struggled with production and had an over supply that was causing me to pump around the clock and severe pain. Within a few visits, not only did Emilee have me feeling better physically, but mentally as well. I was no longer tethered to my pump all hours of the day. She has also helped me with extreme engorgement and milk blebs. Always kind and quick to answer all of my questions and addresses each concern. I recommend every breastfeeding mama I know to her because she really is the best!

Emilee is amazing! She was super helpful with all things breastfeeding and general new born things! She gave great recommendations for bottles and pacifiers to prevent flow preference. She also provided information on how to increase supply, pump, and wean off when we were done breastfeeding. She also gave great referrals for tongue tie diagnosing/treatment and other health concerns.

Breastfeeding has truly been a journey for our family and emilee has been there through every step, even when I'm really struggling she's always there to help and reassure me that everything will be fine. She even made sure I could be seen when our insurance changed and I was afraid I'd have to struggle on my own. I appreciate her kindness, understanding and helpfulness that was much needed. I met with Emilee before I went into an unplanned induction and she was so great at giving me all the information I needed going into the hospital. She then came to my home for the first 6 weeks of my postpartum/breastfeeding journey which was incredibly helpful. I was so grateful to get the help I needed right from home. Along with breastfeeding help, she was also great at answering general questions I had about my baby’s development. It was very comforting to have someone in the medical field checking in every week and answer all my many many questions. Can’t recommend Emilee enough, she’s amazing!

Emilee was so helpful. Although it was my second baby exclusively breastfeeding, she taught me several new things and helped resolve some colic problems. She came to my home, made me feel comfortable, and was very efficient with our time. Every new mom should save themselves a little stress and just book an appt to meet with Emilee for the day they come home from the hospital! Breast feeding was much more challenging than I anticipated and she was my saving grace. ❤️ Emilee was accommodating and got me on her schedule quickly, she checked up on us multiple times between follow ups, and was so encouraging and positive throughout the whole process. Emilee has supported us since day one in the hospital, followed by home visits which makes life so much easier for a FTM and just easier in general when you have a newborn. She helped me discover my babygirls tongue tie being the reason of why she was not transferring any milk while nursing. She was very patient with me as we were trying to make the decision to ultimately get the procedure to correct her tongue tie. She referred me to someone for PT as well as to a dentist who can do the laser procedure. The way Emilee cares for my babygirl while she comes to help with nursing and doing weighted feeds is so loving. My daughter loves when Emilee is around and is always full of smiles. She brings amazing energy to her and has really helped us on our journey to breast feeding. Emilee went above and beyond to help me get my visits paid for by doing extensive research on how to get reimbursed. I can’t say enough about her and how she has provided care to us in such a sweet and loving way. She’s always available to answer any questions at any time helping relieve anxiety when something comes up that is troubling. We definitely wouldn’t be where we are now if it wasn’t for Emilee’s support and I highly recommend her to all moms. She’s helped me come up with a plan since day one to lesson the stress and continues to adapt and help update the plan as our circumstances have changed. My babygirl is now breastfeeding like a champ and emptying me almost at every feed. It feels so great to have this sweet connection with my baby and I’m so grateful to Emilee for helping us get here. Emilee is so awesome! I had trouble latching my baby and had no idea what I was doing, and she got me scheduled and seen the next day. My baby lost almost a pound after birth from a bad latch and he gained two pounds back almost immediately because of Emillie’s help.She even scheduled an appointment for when I go back to work to help me with a pumping schedule. I highly recommend her for any breastfeeding help!
